Saber, the only child of a family of villagers is a strong minded young man who wants to fight the occupation forces and to defend his homeland. What keeps him from joining the revolutionists is the fact that he is the provider in his family; however, he helps the cause by making his house a hiding place for the weapons used against the French rulers and oppressors until he eventually gets caught.
